ContestsJudges’ Training Seminar

Saturday 14th May, 2016 from 8:00 to 16:00

RACQ Auditorium, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, 4127

The time has come for newer members to take the responsibility to ensure we have high quality competitions and well-informed contestants. Judging is a skill that extends beyond the Toastmasters environment.

We have excellent judges with vast experience willing to pass on their knowledge. They learned: now they are willing to teach. Let us take this opportunity to learn a valuable skill that would benefit members, clubs, areas, divisions and our District.

Who should attend?

This event is open to all Toastmasters interested in judging or competing, as well as to any member of the public involved in assessing and debriefing projects.

The benefits of attending

Members with experience or those new to judging, as well as speech contestants will benefit. Judges will be given the opportunity to be exposed to rules, their interpretation and application. Potential contestants will have the opportunity to gain new understanding of the rules and how these rules apply to them as competitors; this understanding should help to improve club, area, division and district contests.

The educational event of the year: do not miss it! Come and avail yourself of this unique opportunity.

JudgesDo not even think about it.
